ILYA YAKUSHEV

Russian pianist Ilya Yakushev will perform the music of Beethoven, Gershwin, and Rachmaninoff in celebration of the composer's 150th birthday. With many awards to his credit, the New York Times said “Yakushev was little short of heroic” and the San Francisco Chronicle named his performance as " One of the Top 10 Classical Music Events of the Year."

TWO ACCORDIONS

Father daughter duo Sergei and Maria Teleshev are both World Accordion Champions. Sergei was classically trained at the Academy of Music in Voronezh, Russia and has won many international accordion competitions. Maria began playing the according at six years old and won her first international competition within two months. In 2021, she was recognized as "Prodigy of the Year" by ‘Accordion Stars Illustrated Magazine.’

The program includes classical composers Florence Price, Cecile Chaminade, Lili Boulanger and Beth Sussman, along with familiar tunes associated with Audrey Hepburn ‘Moon River’ and Ingrid Bergman ‘As Time Goes By.’
