Multi-Arts Summer Camp

June 3rd  – August 9th, 2019

Ages 6-10 year olds & 11-13 year olds

Camp sales end 12pm on the Friday before each camp week begins.

Experience the most creative combination of courses; all taught by enthusiastic and entertaining staff members, artists, and educators at the historic Muckenthaler.

The Muckenthaler Cultural Center hosts this very popular Annual Multi-Arts Summer Camp (ages 6 – 10 & 11-13) which includes ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, animation, dance, theater, clowning, music, puppetry, and the art of science. Students will be fully engaged in hands-on projects with visual arts, performing arts, science, and outdoor fitness activities. You will find everything your child will need to fill those summer days with non-stop fun and activities all aligned with state standards for Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Week 5: July 1st - July 5th * No July 4th (America, the beautiful)

Week 6: July 8th - July 12th (The Renaissance)

Week 7: July 15th - July 19th (Far out-er space)

Week 8: July 22nd - July 25th (Kings, Queens, & Everything Royal)

Week 9: July 29th - August 2nd (The groovy ‘60s)

Week 10: August 5th - August 9th (Music makes me lose control)

Cancellations Policy: There is no refund, only week interchange. If an interchange is not desired, please contact Chief Education Officer Stephannie Bobadilla at 714-738-6595 xt 106  or

Should a session fail to reach the minimum participants per session, class will be cancelled and tuition refunded.



Skip the wait on the first day of class by downloading and filling out your child's photo and medical release forms at home!

Please note: The Release form must be filled out and submitted on the first day of class. This is in addition to the registration information entered during check out.


Reminder to Parents:

  • Please pack a small snack and lunch for your child.

  • Avoid easily perishable foods and glass containers, refrigeration of lunches not guaranteed, but available upon request.

  • Recommended two bottles of water, or a refillable water container each day.

  • Backpacks strongly recommended to keep art projects and lunches with your child as they go between classes.

  • Recommend comfortable, closed shoes, no flip-flops or sandals.

  • Some classes outdoors, recommend sunscreen and cool clothing.

To ensure the safety of students, in case of an earthquake or other emergency, we are requesting you pack a one day food supply, which we will store on-site for the duration of your child's M.A.S.C. experience. Packaging suggestions are: 1 large clear Ziploc bag with a 1 day supply of non-perishable food. Please have child's name, camp week(s), parents name & contact information, on the bag.Thank you.

Volunteer Notice:
The Muckenthaler’s annual Multi-Arts Summer Camp depends on mature and dependent volunteers to run as smooth as possible. College age students who are interested in expanding their knowledge in arts education under the supervision of Muckenthaler art instructors are encouraged to apply, especially if they are pursuing a future in Elementary to Junior High School education.
