Create your own utilitarian and decorative ceramic pieces for everyday use with Master Ceramist, Young Shin Kim. This class is for students wanting to improve existing skills; including Buncheong, a traditional Korean decorative technique. Students will learn how to utilize their own pieces and how to use other materials; underglazes, low fire glazes, and slips. This class will consist of both hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques. All the pieces are glazed with lead-free and food safe glazes and are fired at high-firing in gas kilns.
