Bill Cunliffe Preview

Bill Cunliffe Preview

July 28 @7:00pm

As part of his first time at the Fringe performing his show, "The History of Jazz Piano and Irrelevant Topics," Grammy winning jazz pianist Bill Cunliffe will tap into his vast repertoire, taking audience requests for a pop, a jazz, and a classical song request from the audience, and combines them into a new,  hilarious. improvised composition. Imagine Beethoven's 5th meets Let It Be, meets Take the A Train. Or something completely different. Caution: Rap is off the table.

Next, Bill observes as Bud Powell visits J.S. Bach through Time Tunnel technology, and takes his famous Anna Magdalena Bach minuet through history, from 18th century Europe to 19th century Russia and then to the US in various parts of the 20th century. Hilarity ensues.
