THE SOUND OF MUSIC

Jun 6-7th - 7:00pm
Jun 12-14th - 7:00pm
Jun 19-21st - 7:00pm
Jun 26-28th - 7:00pm

The story of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most popular classic unfolds as you travel to several spaces on the Muck’s unique grounds. The spirited, romantic and beloved musical story of Maria and the von Trapp Family will once again thrill audiences as they re-discover the inspiring story of family, faith, joy, and courage in turbulent times.

Production by Electric Company Theatre, the resident theatre company of The Muck.

- Tickets are free as always for Golden Tickets, but we will insist on the RSVP system to save your spot. Only 75 tickets are available for each performance, and we anticipate selling out. We will not be able to accommodate walk ups, even from Golden Ticket holders. Golden Ticket holders please email michelle@themuck.org to save your spot.

- This production will travel around the beautiful grounds of the Muck, which will require walking from the audience from location to location. There will be a total of ten times that require a walk (from inside the gallery to the outside teardrop driveway, for instance).

- This production will begin and end in the Center Circle Courtyard. Only one short scene will take place in the amphitheater.

- Most locations will have seating once you arrive, but there is one scene that will take place on the south lawn that will require standing for just under ten minutes.

- If you require a walker, wheelchair, or assistance with mobility, there will be an option on all routes that allows you to use your assisted device, but it may be a longer route, and there may be a possibility that a scene may be underway when you arrive.

- Refreshments (beer, wine, and water) will be sold pre-show and intermission - but you will need to carry those refreshments with you on your journey.
