Join us Saturday, May 23rd as we join forces with The Frida Cinema to bring you a social-distance-friendly evening of cinema under the stars: Drive-In Movie Night at The Muck! Pack up your car with your favorite goodies and come on out for Rob Reiner’s 1987 classic The Princess Bride!
Tickets for this special event go on sale this Tuesday, May 19th at 12pm! Tickets will be $20 per car, regardless of number of people in your car, and will be available exclusively online at www.thefridacinema.org.
Based on the William Goldman novel of the same name, The Princess Bride is a fairy tale adventure about “fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles” that became an unlikely cult classic beloved by fans of all ages. Led by Goldman’s own witty and ultra-quotable screenplay adaptation, a remarkable cast, and a consistently thrilling narrative, The Princess Bride received the ultimate honor of being selected for preservation by The National Film Preservation Board in 2016.
We are excited to partner with The Frida Cinema on this Social-Distance-Friendly event! To ensure the safety of our guests and volunteers:
- The film’s soundtrack will be accessible exclusively through your car’s FM Transmitter — no need to open your window during your event!
- Tickets will be sold exclusively online, until event is sold out. Ticket holders will be asked to display their tickets either on their smart devices/phones, or printed, upon entry — they will be scanned by our staff through your window.
- Guests are invited to pack their cars with food and snacks!
Restrooms will be available for our guests. We ask that guests wear a mask when leaving their cars to walk to and from the restroom. Restrooms will be sanitized between uses.
- Limited-capacity venue! Tickets will be available Tuesday at 12pm, until they’re sold out!
