On this, the 41st anniversary of Elvis’ death, we’re going to take you to Las Vegas and celebrate not just the King, but his imaginary “concert of mutual friendship” with Welshman Tom Jones. And to make it even more like Vegas, there’s even a completely appropriate opening act TBA.
The show starts out as a simple “Unplugged Tour” version of a Tom Jones Concert. About three hit songs in, Elvis appears behind Tom saying, “I was passing by and I heard your wailing! ‘Thought I’d join you for spell.” And so, the “Concert that might have been…” begins. It’s a loosey-goosey, “Rat-packy”, romp between three close friends – and much funnier than any tribute concert ought to be. Combined with some great singing and keyboard playing, this show is 90 minutes of FUN!
