The Muckenthaler celebrates this special Mexican holiday with an afternoon filled with arts and crafts, altars, art workshops, food vendors and live music! The historical roots of this holiday date back to the pre-Hispanic cultures of Meso-America of the indigenous people, especially the Nahua (Aztecs, Mayans, and Toltecs) and others native to Mexico. Please join us as we gather together to enjoy regional dance groups and festive activities honoring Dia de los Muertos traditions.
