Enjoy dinner and entertainment under the stars! Featuring ballet performances by Nouveau Chamber Ballet. 

During the evening, the 2016 Dr. James Young Arts Legacy Award will be presented to Lois Ellyn—ballerina, choreographer and teacher—as well as Artistic Director of Nouveau Chamber Ballet. Ellyn studied and performed with prominent figures in the world of ballet such as Madame Nijinska and Maestro Celli. She was a noted ballerina for New York City Ballet under George Balanchine, who redefined the image of ballet in the United States. She owns the Lois Ellyn Studio in Fullerton, California, which has become one of Orange County’s most respected schools for ballet training. 

Nouveau Chamber Ballet partners with Orange County schools to bring dance to life for school children. Nouveau Chamber Ballet brings the magic of live performance to children who would otherwise never have the opportunity.
