Jouyssance Early Music Ensemble returns to the Muckenthaler for its fourth annual concert celebrating the unaccompanied choral music of the medieval, renaissance, and early baroque eras. This year the Ensemble will focus onrich and diverse choral music from the first half of the 16th century, presenting contrasting styles highlighting the religious turmoil and national development in Europe at the time. Sumptuous and spiritual music of giants like Josquin, Tallis, Morales, Taverner, Isaac and others will be featured.
