Recent works by South Korean artist Bumjoon Lee, who utilizes a unique practice of scratching images into the surfaces of canvas- shaped stainless steel sheets. Lee’s subjects range from the surreal to the commonplace. Mr. Lee’s work was first seen at the Muckenthaler during our 2009 Sister City Exchange Exhibition with the City of Yongin, S. Korea.
