Italian Gardens @ the Muck

In the 1924, Walter Muckenthaler hired Sequoia Nursery's Clark Lutschg, one of California's first registered landscape architects, to complete the project of the estate garden. The Italian Garden now hosts more than 75 weddings each year. It is a magical show as the sun sets behind the palms. Flower sprays cover the new wrought iron gazebo, which is over the old goldfish pond. Brides and grooms exchange vows, hoping to soak a little in the aura that the Muckenthalers left after a generous life together and a marriage that lasted the rest of their lives.
