Summer Solstice Festival
Storytelling/Folk Music

This is the first of our four summer arts festivals. We feature the best of Southern California’s folk music scene and storytellers including folk bands gypsy greats, Fishtank Ensemble; British Isles folk favorite, When Pigs Fly, French/Chinese folk sensation Jessica Fichot Band; and Live OC magazine’s Best Folk Band winner, Sligo Rags.  We also feature storytelling groups from Long Beach, West Los Angeles, and Orange County, along with tellers Leslie Perry, Michael McCarty and Linda King Pruitt.

This free festival is open to everyone.  The day’s festivities includes a children’s area with free art workshops, a children’s stage, an arts & crafts faire, house and gallery tours, a lawn sports tournament with the Leisure League, picnicking, food vendors, a story swap area, a jam session area, in addition to the stage performance continuously in our outdoor amphitheatre.

Muck-A-Cappella Music Festival

If you love the purity and complexity of the human voice you will love this festival showcasing the best of North Orange County’s love for vocal harmony. From jazz “vocalese” to doo wop to barbershop and everything in between, this event features the best including jazz vocal group Vocal Magic, WYSIWYG, Brea Gaslight Chorus, and great student groups like SoundCheck A Capella from Chapman University. Look out for surprise big-name special guests.

This is a free festival open to all. The day’s festivities from 1 PM -5 PM includes a children’s area with free art workshops, an arts & crafts faire, house and gallery tours, a lawn sports tournament, picnicking, food vendors, and more in addition to the stage performance continuously in our 250-seat outdoor theatre.

World Dance Festival

We celebrate Southern California’s diversity with the rich tapestry of dances from Mexico, Ireland, Spain, the Middle East, Korea, Argentina and Guam, among others.
