In honor of Shirley and Peggy Muckenthaler, who share a February 19th birthday, we have dusted off recipes from the rancho days, chosen ingredients grown here in Orange County’s ranchos, and are ready to serve the Yorba’s own wines. Guest chefs are Joni Stein, Zoot Velasco, and the wonderful women of Center Circle. Thanks to Bob Clark, Jr. and Peggy Muckenthaler Albert for helping on the wines. Peggy and Don Albert will be our guests of honor.

The second stop of the day is in downtown Santa Paula, where passengers can visit the historic Southern Pacific Depot, the St. Francis Dam Memorial sculpture, the amazing rotating water ball in Railroad Plaza Park, the Santa Paula Art Museum, the California Oil Museum or the Ventura County Agriculture Museum or take a self-guided walking tour of world-class murals, all these historic sites are within walking distance of the train depot.
