For the past four years, Orange County’s own Moon Tide Press has brought renowned poets from around Southern California to the Muckenthaler. This summer, publisher Michael Miller, an acclaimed poet and a former judge for the San Diego Book Awards and Poetry Out Loud, hosts an exclusive book launch.
The Muckenthaler Cultural Center produces more than 75 performances, gallery exhibits, festivals and special events every year. The Center also generates more than 2,000 hours of arts education classes at the Muckenthaler and in eight outreach sites serving more than 30,000 people.
