With an array of multi-cultural bands whose genres range from Blues to Bolero and Jazz, the Muckenthaler Cultural Center’s Annual Summer Solstice-and Taco Festival-offers a day full of family fun…
Featuring local talent, The Budrows, Bastards of Belleville, Trio Ellas (2012 Latin Grammy Nominee for Best Ranchero Album), Quattro (14th Annual Latin Grammy Nominee for Best New Artist), Haemil (Korean Traditional Music) and many more musical groups.
Enjoy an afternoon filled with free art workshops, a children’s play area, an arts and crafts fair, gallery tours, and storytellers. Don’t miss the always popular Fullerton Sister City Association’s International Taco Festival Fundraiser from 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. Last year this event set a record as the most attended event in Muck history!

Celebrate the Muckenthaler Mansion’s 90th Birthday with 1920s panache! See vintage cars, taste exquisite food and authentic cocktails, and hear period music on two stages! Join the Leisure League’s Autumn Invitational Bocce Ball Tournament or try your hand in a game of croquet or badminton. Fantastic musicians, from Ragtime stride piano to Roaring ‘20s sweethearts will be on hand to entertain you as you dance the afternoon away (pianists provided by RagFest). Browse the vendors’ booths selling everything from period jewelry and art pieces to tasty food and the finest “bathtub gin”.

Join our young people at this family-friendly event as we combine our highly successful Day of the Dead Celebration and the Teen Festival at the Muckenthaler! We present youth bands, teen organizations, Latino arts and crafts, alters, poetry slam, art competition, and free art workshops. Food vendors support the local organizations involved in youth activities.
The Muckenthaler’s annual Holiday Festival features various activities, including home and gallery tours, performances, and an arts & crafts fair. The family-friendly event also provides free art workshops for kids, a children’s play area, and a special appearance by Santa Claus.
