Gift Shop/Center Circle
Original art, jewelry, baby gifts, seasonal items, handblown glass and more!
Nestled in the Muckenthaler Cultural Center mansion just off the main gallery, is a unique Gift Shop named after the original owner, Adella Muckenthaler. The shop features many original works of art, one-of-a-kind gift items, and seasonal home decor items. During special exhibitions Adella’s Gift Shop carries merchandise related to the theme or content of the show. Proceeds return to the Center to defray some exhibit costs and to support arts programming to benefit the community we serve.
The Shop is staffed by volunteers from the Muckenthaler Center Circle and is open Wednesday through Sunday 12 to 4 p.m.
The Center Circle volunteers enjoy opportunities to participate in a variety of activities. Whether you enjoy playing cards, doing crafts or going on tours, there is something for everyone. Registration is required for all activities.
Center Circle
Volunteer Guild at the Muckenthaler
Established in 1967, the Muckenthaler Center Circle is dedicated to the development and success of the Muckenthaler Cultural Center by providing volunteer services to promote and staff fundraising events which support the Center’s community arts, including children’s art, music programs, theatre, and local and national art exhibits. Membership is open to anyone 18 years and older who wishes to make a difference in our Orange County community.
We encourage involvement at the Center through taking classes; working in the gift shop; and attending plays, concerts, exhibitions and other exciting activities. Members hold regular meetings and programs, plan field trips to museums and historical sites.
The Center Circle is actively seeking members who are interested in supporting the arts, and welcome all those who wish to join. Please contact membership chairperson, Jean Crum at Crum8@aol.com for more information.
Anyone under the age of 18, interested in volunteering, please click here for more information.
